What methods do you believe in? Do you think organics makes a difference?

I believe organic products do make a difference. For those who prefer a slow and relaxing high, going organic is the way. I’ve done it before.

If you’re aiming for 100% organic soil, I would recommend looking for cow, horse, and rabbit manures. They provide excellent nutrients. To mix them, you’ll need leaves like grass clippings, plant trimmings, young weeds (before seedling), and food waste such as eggshells, vegetables, and fruits only.

You will need green and brown ingredients.
    Green
Food scraps – furits, vegetables, houseplants, coffee grounds, rice, pasta, eggshells, tea leaves.
Yard wastes grass clippings, plants trimmings, young weeds before seeding.
    Brown
Food/Kitechen scraps stable bread, coffee filters, hair, cotton clothing (cut up), paper towels, paper product (bags, cardboard), can be composted but do not overdo it and make sure they are not coated. They also can be recycled as well.
Yard wastes brown leaves, straw, hay, dried grass, chopped twigs, chopped bark chips, dead plants, and flower.

All that costs you nothing. It’s totally free since you’re only recycling all food waste with either cow, horse, and rabbit manures.

Cow manure can be problematic. Grass fields where cows graze might be sprayed with an herbicide to kill weeds. The herbicide is passed on through the manure. If so, the passed herbicide will kill your plants. First signs are wilted leaves. If you use cow manure, test it on some other plant to see if it is affected.

That’s interesting to know there might be problematic. It would be hard to find a person who feed grass only with their cows without being sprayed with unknown chemical contents. What is your alternative for complete 100% organic other than that manures.

    Hey HumoLoco,

I love your advice!! You are so awesome… if you wanna know what i could add to that it would be…
You can use earthworm castings and local forrest fungi https://permacultureapprentice.com/food-forest-fungi/, as far as manure, its best to get it from a good source, and make sure you let it sit for at least a year before using it your soil mixes, as it stands fresh, it is too “hot” or too high in nitrogen for plants and can cause them to wilt.

Do you grow indoor or outdoor?
